Hey everyone! Welcome to Warts! Starting off first adds, late tonight, there are 4 new characters and 4 new players. I know we're starting out small, but we'll be doing adds again tomorrow and Sunday to kick off the reopening. ELLO LOVES! I leave on a flight to Alabama tomorrow and won't be back for two weeks. I'll be trying to get on the computer, but my priority while there is going to be more on spending time with the people there than the computer so I'm not sure exactly HOW often I'll be on. However, I WILL BE BACK!

Hey guys! It's Jen and I have another kid here. I've been really bad at commenting the intro posts lately because rl has kept me busy and I've been trying to at least keep up with modly things. BUT! I promise to do a bit better in the future.
In the meantime, I'm bringing in Hugo. I couldn't resist. Love me some Weasleys. So, for Weasleys and Potters, he's gonna need to figure out some lines there. And, since we don't have all of them, I'm shamelessly gonna say PICK UP A WEASLEY ooooooooooor TELL YOUR FRIEND TO JOIN WITH A WEASLEY or with James. Jussayin.
Also, Hugo is a 6th year Gryffindor so friends are welcome. He doesn't have past relationships but he could be oblivious to your boy's crush or something if you needed/wanted that line. He's currently got a boyfriend [Tomás Davies] who he's not secretive about. So he's pretty much out but never officially declared he was gay. Hermione pretty much knew though, cause come on, it's Hermione.
He plays quidditch so friends and rivals because of that would be great. And anything else you think you might be able to use him for, I'm open to.

Hello people! I know some of you from before, but for those I don't know, hi I'm Kasey and I'm pleased to bring you all Mr. Tyson Ty Kingston who is a lovely 7th year Gryffindor.
Ty is, to put it plainly, a huge flirt. If he thinks your character is pretty (and let's face it, his standards are pretty much do they breathe, if so, than they're prefect) than he is going to be calling them "darling" and "love" and mention just how shaggable they are. It doesn't matter if you're character isn't interested or threatens to punch him in the face, his lack of mouth filter really tends to just ignore those threats. But really, overall, he's a sweetheart for the most part. He loves to be the life of the party, and hates when things are too dull. He's also ridiculous levels of loyal to his friends. Ty is the type of person who doesn't believe that life should ever be boring, which is why he's totally planning on being a curse breaker when he grows up, which tends to piss of his parents which to him is a bonus. Hey y'all!
Ree here and I've brought in my second boy! I'm really excited to get him in game because he's quite the opposite of Everett. Dom Rivers is a good natured, rough-and-tumble sort've guy. A sixth year Hufflepuff, he's also the seeker for his houses Quidditch team and a Prefect. He enjoys the company of all, tries to find the best in others (even if its difficult) and usually has a goofy smile or smirk pasted on his face. He's often outside the grounds, either exploring or just feeling generally freer outdoors. An overall stand up bloke, he tries to keep balance and harmony in all things but isn't afraid to speak up for those he feels are being slighted. Dom's dad is a famous muggle actor and his mother is involved in the entertainment industry as well, and as a result, he traveled throughout his childhood and has an Americanized accent (though he has dual citizenship in France and the US). He's really quite a terrible student; all procrastination until the last minute where he blasts through everything (and usually does pretty well). Beyond that, he's a confident kid whose anger flares rarely but when it does the ferocity usually surprises people.
As always, I'd love back story with other characters; flings, exes, friends, enemies or even current romantic interests! Feel free to ping me @ everettwrites!!

Yay! Hey guys it's Claire with my second boy, Danny Sloper. He's a 6th year Hufflepuff, Chaser on the Quidditch team, member of Future Ministry Workers, and V-P of CoMC Club! Lots of stuff. Anyway, I'm super super excited to bring him in and I'd love some lines for him!!
To sum him up in a few short words, Danny is an athletic, determined guy who is basically living his life day to day. He doesn't try to overcomplicate his life by thinking about the future, and over all he's pretty laid back. He rarely gets stressed out about work, but he does hate disappointing others and himself. If he does poorly on an exam or in a match, he will be in a poor mood for the rest of the day, or at least a few hours. Like most boys, Danny doesn't express his feelings too well. He'll bottle them up and then only talk about them if pushed; he likes to think he can handle his own problems. Similarly, Danny is good at giving advice, but a little bad at accepting it himself. Overall, though, Danny is a pretty happy guy with few complaints. He has a younger sister and an older brother, he's come to terms with his sexuality, and while he prefers relationships, he also has had a few random hook ups just to satisfy him.
I'd love for some lines, whether they're friendships, rivals, past hookups, future hookups, whatever! I'm open to any and everything :) And you guys can always chat/plot with me at hellomrdeath!

Hey Friends!
I'm Ree and I'll be bringing Everett Nichols into the game. He's a 7th year Slytherin with a 6th year brother in Gryffindor. Most people probably call him Ever or Ev, he's flighty and carefree but also has that smoldery sex appeal. A genuine charmer, he can converse with most everyone...if not bed them (haha). He loves being nude, partially nude, loves laughing and making others sometimes squirm because his blatant sexual nature. That being said, he does keep a very private life - those that he holds close to him are chosen because he feels like they are truth worthy and loyal. Once you're Ever's friend, you have him for life.
He wants to be an Auror, is gifted in DADA, and loves a good party. I would love to chat about lines and histories with other characters - I'm so down for anything! Feel free to ping me @ everettwrites on AIM or comment on this journal's contact post!! :)

Hey guys, sorry I didn't do this earlier!
Anywhoo-- I'm Claire, and this is Oliver Wood Jr. He's a 6th year Gryffindor, Keeper on the Quidditch team, and all around good guy! He smokes spliff a bit too much, likes to be impulsive and then later realize the consequences, and is a bit of a romantic at heart. He loves being outside and being a goofy, irresponsible bloke, but he's also emotional. He has trouble regulating his emotions at times, and because of that he wears his heart/emotions on his sleeve. He would never punch anyone because he was angry, but he has trouble communicating what he's feeling, so more often than not he just gets frustrated and annoyed.
Either way! He's going to need mates, and maybe some Quidditch rivals. I'm down for anything! Just comment here :)

Hey guys. I'm Jen. Your mod. I would've done the intro thing days ago and commented to your guys' but I was exhausted after work, adds and all that. Then my net was out. So here we are.
I have a handful here, well, three. The first two return from before and one new one for this go around.
Aaron Pucey [this journal] is a 6th yr Slytherin. He's the son of Pansy Parkinson and Adrian Pucey. And he's a brat. He's been openly gay for awhile now and he's had a bit of a promiscuous reputation in the past. Though he has had boyfriends, he's had his share of hookups that seem to get exposed. If you want a former fling/hookup or an ex [especially a short term relationship] then I can offer Aaron up for that. However, nothing really from this year, since he's been involved in a high drama rship with his best friend turned boifran Matt Vaisey.
Next, I have Ringo Finch-Fletchley [ringoff]. He's a quidditch beater. He's loud, rambunctious, brash. All those sort of things. But he means well. He plays a little rough but is generally a good guy. He's a 6th year Gryffindor but other houses would probably know him because he's so attention demanding and likes to talk and mingle. He's not "technically" gay according to him. He still dates girls and is attracted to them. But he snogs boys on the side and things sometimes lead to more. Right now, he's not questioning it or overanalyzing it. When it happens, he just goes with it. So again, if you need a past drunken snog partner, Ringo could be that guy. He could be an enemy; he tends to rub the more conservative kids the wrong way.
And lastly, my new boy is Camelot Graves. He's a Weird Sister span and a 6th Ravenclaw. He's generally introverted but a nice enough guy. He does party though, and that's when his wilder side comes out. He's got a love/hate relationship with it because he has problems with self control. His father is a recovering alcoholic and that'd probably be pretty well known since his dad is a celebrity. Cam is worried that he might end up like his dad, except he's not really staying away from the poison. Soooo.... otherwise, he's really inquisitive, slightly mysterious if only because he's quiet and thoughtful.
So, I'm up for plotting, friends anything/way you think our characters would mesh. :)

Hey everyone. It seems pretty obvious, with the lack of activity and updates and responses to the activity checks, but I wanted to make it official. Warts/Durms is closing. We had a great run, nearly 8 months, and I wanted to say that you're all great writers and I had a fabulous time modding and playing with you all. I'm going to be privating all the info entries and posting a closed notice on the mod pages. However, I will keep everyone friended to the writing communities, in case you'd like to save threads or have the links for examples in the future. Good luck and lots of fun in your rp futures!

Got sick, internet was being wonky over the weekend and then was out of the house and nowhere near a computer yesterday because I went to a hockey game, and it was Super Bowl Sunday, and football is kind of a drug for me. Hello all! I'm here to sheepishly apologize to everyone for just disappearing. :x Julien really didn't have much going on, but... still! I've breathed some new life into my muse so hopefully Julien will be bouncing around here, perfectly little energetic fool that he is.
At any rate, thanks to my muse (and Jules' almost complete inactivity), I decided to change his PB to Emile Hirsch; technically the change won't go through until Sunday, but I thought I'd let everyone know. And if anyone else was planning on using him for a character, please let me know, and I can make the appropriate changes.
Sooo... anyone wanna subject their character to bothering by Julien? :D
